Using Image Capture To Scan



It doesn't sound like you are doing anything wrong. I don't have the MX700, but using my MP600R I checked the settings you mention. My scan worked fine, using Image Capture with just the Scanner Driver installer (not MP Navigator), so I want to confirm my settings.
The 'Scan to Folder' is set to Pictures. The 'Format' is TIFF and the 'Automatic Task' is set to Preview.
